What is a climate declaration?

Created by Gustav Sandin, Modified on Mon, 30 Sep at 10:54 AM by Ariadna Serra

A climate declaration is single-footprint report  focused on the carbon footprint of the product. The emissions of greenhouse gases of a product are reported in kg CO2 equivalents from the different life cycle stages of the product. Climate declarations may be published if there is a published and valid EPD. As the EPD, it is available for download in the EPD Portal.

Single-footprint reports are available also for other environmental issues, beyond climate. Read more about single-footprint reports in Section 6.7 of GPI 5.0.0.
