General information

For the registration and publication of EPDs in the International EPD System, the following pricing scheme applies:

  • Registration fee: The registration fee is a one-time fee charged per EPD.
  • Annual fee: The annual fee is a recurring fee, charged on an annual basis and the amount is based on the size of the organisation.

The information below applies to all countries except those countries where EPD registration and publication are handled via our regional partner. Our regional partners have the right to adapt the pricing scheme according to local market conditions.

Customised pricing schemes may take place in the following countries:

Argentina, Australia, Bangladesh, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, the Philippines, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, the United States of America, Tunisia, Turkey, and Vietnam.

Please visit our international partners for the details.

Registration fee

The registration fee is charged according to the number of registered EPDs per organisation account throughout one calendar year, starting from 1 January to 31 December. This price scheme provides organisations with a discounted fee for registering EPDs via our program within the same calendar year.

Registration Fees (per registered EPD)

EPD no. 1:
1000 EUR
EPD no. 2, 3, 4:
500 EUR each
EPD no. 5 - 99:
100 EUR  each
EPD no. 100 and more:
50 EUR each

For example, if an organisation seeks to register 5 EPDs throughout one calendar year, the registration fee for the EPDs would be charged as follows:

€ 1000 (1st EPD) + € 500 (2nd EPD) + € 500 (3rd EPD) + € 500 (4th EPD) + € 100 (5th EPD) = € 2600

Invoices for EPD registrations are generated monthly.

Annual fee

The annual fee is a recurring payment invoiced annually per individual customer account while its EPDs are registered. The annual fee is based on the size of the organisation, independent of the number of EPDs published under the organisation.

This fee covers updates to published EPDs, including both editorial updates and updates that require re-verification.

Annual fee by organisation size:

Micro (1-10 employees):
500 EUR
SME (11-250 employees):
1000 EUR
MNE (>250 employees):
2500 EUR
Industrial associations:
1000 EUR

The annual fee is invoiced upon registration of the first EPD. For example, if the first EPD is registered in June, the invoice will cover the period from June of the current year to May of the following year. A new invoice will then be issued for each subsequent annual period.

Annual Fee Adjustment

The annual fee is reviewed and adjusted each year based on the Labour Cost Index (LCI) published by Eurostat, which reflects the development of salary-related expenses across the European Union.

Customers will be informed of any adjustments in accordance with the terms outlined in the Service Agreement
