What is the validity of a PCR?

Created by Ariadna Serra, Modified on Tue, 9 Dec at 1:37 PM by Johanna Eikenbusch

A PCR is valid for a pre-determined period of time to ensure that it is updated at regular intervals. This period is normally four years. The validity date for each PCR can be found in the PCR Library and the respective PCR documents.

An expired PCR shall not be used to develop and register new EPDs, neither to update a published EPD with a prolonged period of validity. To be used for these purposes, the expired PCR shall first undergo a large update resulting in an extended validity period.
