If you wish to report a potential non-compliance, please use the following link: Report Potential Non-Compliance. These inquiries will be directly forwarded to our Compliance and Quality Assurance Team. This website can also be reachable once you click on “Contact” in our website's homepage: International EPD System
Why should you report a potential non-compliance to the Secretariat?
Any stakeholder may contact the Secretariat with feedback or complaints on EPDs (An EPD shall be updated and re-verified during its validity if there are errors in the declared information.), Product Category Rules (PCRs), other documents published on International EPD System, verifiers, or on decisions taken during the operation of the programme. Such a complaint shall:
- not be anonymous,
- include a clear description of the scope and nature of the complaint, and
- include a reference to the rule in the General Program Instructions (GPI), ISO 14025, PCR or other reference that is the topic of the complaint.
The Secretariat should act on to complaints within 30 working days. The Secretariat may temporarily depublish the document in question from International EPD System pending, and for the entirety of, the investigation until finalization of corrective action by the document owner. If the complaint concerns an EPD and if no corrective action is implemented, or proposed with an agreed deadline for corrective action, within a six-month period, the EPD may be permanently depublished and archived by the Secretariat (see GPI Version 5.0.0, Section 6.7).
