How to register an EPD with EPD Compiler?

To register an EPD using the EPD Compiler, please follow the following steps:

1. Access your company dashboard within the EPD Portal.
   
   
2. Click on the "New EPD" button to start creating your EPD. A pop-up message will appear, prompting you to choose the type of EPD. Select “Continue with a new EPD Compiler format” for a fully digitalised EPD.
   
   Note: If you opt for the other format, your EPD will only be available in pdf format and not in a fully digitalised format.
   
   
3. Complete the necessary fields in Steps 1 - General Information, 2 - Product Declaration, and 3 - LCA Information. Fields marked with a red explanation symbol are mandatory. Ensure all required information is provided before moving on to the next step.
   
   Note: In Step 3 -LAC Information, it is recommended to use the LCA report Excel template to streamline the process.
   
   
4. Once you have completed all the required fields, click “Start verification.” The verifier will be notified and will review your EPD data. They will upload their verification report in Step 4 - EPD Verification once everything is reviewed and approve the EPD.
   
   Note: If you are registering an EPD using Process Certification, this step is automatically skipped.
   
   
5. Once the EPD is verified, you will receive a notification. Move to Step 5 - EPD Publication and approve the service agreement by checking the box. Once the checkbox is selected, click “Send to publish.”
   
   
6. The EPD will be sent to the Secretariat for final review, which typically takes around 1-3 workdays. After the review and publication is completed by the Secretariat, you will be able to see and download the generated EPD document in PDF format in Step 6 Generated EPD.
